Unfortunately the UK is not at the modern end (so far as broadband is
concerned, and this is becoming a political hot potato) but somewhere in a
long list of late adopter countries :-)

AOL in the UK does provide a decent cheap service, I have tried most of the
'free' ISP's here and the only annoyance I have with AOL connection is that
I have to manually click to close the dialup whenever I reboot. A small
price to pay. As I said I don't use the interface - just the dialer. And AOL
don't spam me..
