It is obviously a problem for the client to connect to the AD. Except this
problem we also experience another, i.e., then trying to set permissions for
a folder on the client it is impossible to browse or even to choose an
domain account. Existing permissions for domain accounts works fine, though.

Client seems to be correct configured. DNS settings just point to the
servers IP-adress. The client also seem to be a member of the domain, I can
see the computer in the AD (Active directory users and computers) on the
server. I've also tried to disconnect the client from the domain (change it
to a workgroup), renamed the client and then reconected it to the domain but
with the same bad result.
