Am trying to connect two XP puters using a netgear
EN104TPUK 4 port hub and all seems ok with this. Have
checked all the settings are exactly the same and they
are also exactly the same as my other network which works
like a charm, apart from one thing. One of the computers
on the new network has no 'authentication tab'in the
properties for the local area connection in network
connections. the network cannot see this computer and
the computer cannot see the network. all lights are lit
on the hub indicating no broken cables but computers will
not comunicate at all!

any ideas?
