Password protecting folders

I am on a small peer to peer network. When I was using
Windows 98 or Me I could share a folder on the network
but assign a password so that only authorized people (
with the password could use it)Now I'm using XP pro and
it only allows me to share or not. Am I missing
something? What happened to the password protection?
