I have allready tried the local user management tool.
Changing local path has no effect. Changing profile path
goes to roaming profile which is not what I want. When I
go back to local profile, when I log on to <username>" it
all defaults to "C:\documents and settings\<username>".

What I want is a local profile "d:\<user>" rather
than "c:\documents and settings\<username>

Thanks, Andrew

>You can try using the Local Users management tool. Click
Start, Run and enter LUSRMGR.MSC Open the Users folder,
then double click on the user's name. Go to the Profiles
tab. After you've pointed it to where you want the
profiles to be, you'll have to copy everything over.
