I have a similar problem. i can no longer use internet
explorer with any site that has a high security control
or to get msn hotmail.
Comcast told me to try adjusting security settings in IE
under Tools>Internet Options but nothing worked. then
they said IE (6.0) & reinstall.
I've tried to go to the ms site to do so but get the
message "your current security settings prohibit running
active x controls on this page. as a result, the page may
not display correctly."
The online info ms has to correct this problem applies to
win. xp & not win.xp home edition. there is no
administrator i can find on home xp.
