Sounds like a tremendously bad idea, but try here:

You could try switching to another firewall such as the free www.sygate.com
Find out which firewalls AOL is compatible with. If the answer is none of
them, then ask for a manager and take your business elsewhere. XP is like
over a year old now, enough time to fix their product.
