I bought the last computer model from the store shelf; it
had been used as sample.
I imagine that the salesmen had set the user with the
name of their store: LAOX, because this is the name of
one of the folders under 'Documents and Settings'. All
the files I have created meanwhile have received this
ownership.

I used the Computer Management tool (->Local Users and
Groups) to successfully change the previous user name
LAOX, to my name. I also checked by running LUSRMGR.MSC
that everything is OK (now, only the 'Administrator' and
the new user with my name exist).

After this renaming I expected that the folder 'LAOX'
will be renamed. It wasn't. It still appears
under 'Documents and Settings', the system wouldn't allow
me to rename it, and the following thing still happens:
if I open a Word document, I am 'told' that "this
document is used by LAOX...would you like to make a
copy ?", pressing Cancel solves that, but it is annoying,
and I don't understand what happens.

Thank you very much.
