Thanx, Doug, now I'm happy again:
The SECURITY tab wasn't there, because of the XP
(recommended) simple file sharing!!!
There were only 3 specific users allowed, all starting
with "S-1-5-21-1004336348...". _Who are they_? I don't
find a hint in Help under "Security Identifiers".
Are they made by a virus or backdoor?
And why do I "infect" a complete partition, when I
restore only files from (not accessible) partition "G:"
to (accessible) partition "F:", so that complete "F:"
afterwards is also no more accessible?
Please another help about security:
Wouldn't it be better to not allow "Everyone"->"Full
Control" on the partitions, BUT to explicitly
allow only
"Users"->"Modify,Read&Execute,List folder..." and
"Administrators"->"Full Control"...?
I hope that you please! please! answer my questions,
so that such a heart-attacking accident hopefully will
never happen to me again...
Thanx in advance....and a Happy New Year...
Chris from Munich
