I have a multi drive/multi OS system. I recently lost the
MBR and had to reinstall both OSs.(2000 ADV Server and XP
Pro)I now have my system back but cannot get into my old
folder under E:\Documents and Settings. E: being where I
reinstalled the orginal XP Pro. The message as
follows: "E:\Documents and Settings\Dan is not
accessible. Access is denied." and I am logged in with
Admin rights. When I created my account I used the "for
me only" option for this folder. I know the files are
there through file utilities that I found on the net but
cannot access them. And as I have found out I didn't
think of backup till the word "restore" was needed.
Is there any way that I can access files in this folder
and its subfolders? I had several important docs and
files in there that can be found no where else.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
Dan
