Make sure you get the XP system disks. Start and run the used computer,
open what ever software is installed just to be sure it runs OK. Get CDs
for the apps too.

Check configuration to be sure it meets XP standards before you spend your
money. Ask yourself why the owners sold a computer less than a year after
the upgrade.

Connect a printer and other devices to make sure they work. If the shop
will allow it, download and run the Belarc Advisor www.belarc.com to see
the details of the system.
