Hi,
I have a slightly different problem. I had about three
accounts on our computer for some time now. Last night I
decided to remove 2 accounts and keep one. One of these 2
accounts was password protected while the other was not. I
chose the "keep files" option while deleting both the
accounts. As I understand, the documents folder as well as
the desktop of the account being deleted were to be copied
automatically into a folder on the desktop for the account
I was logged into.
This was true for the non-password-protected account and
the documents/desktop were stored to a new folder created
on the desktop. But this did not happen with the other
account. A folder was created but its empty. The profile
doesnt show on the logon screen but the profile directory
is there under the "documents and settings" folder on my
drive.
I'm thinking that maybe the documents are still there but
I'm not able to do so as I'm getting 'access denied'. Is
there a way to get to the stuff underneath? ( it doesnt
even prompt for a password :( .. I even tried creating a
new account with the same name but didnt work)
I know one of these profiles was succesfully deleted and >-
