also can not do a system restore

I just went through this problem myself , and what I did
was to turn off my systen restore and restart my
computer, then turn system restore back on again.
And this worked for me, Because it got rid of the bad
restore file that had kept it from working.
To do this (Right Click) on "My Computer"
choose "Properities" click on it and then click on
the "Restore tab" and (Uncheck) "Turn off system restore"
box.
Now if none of this works for you then read the attached
file.
