Thanks for you help.
I did reset the internet options defaults. I also checked
and ZA is accepting cookies privacy is at min.
I had thought that in the group edit, I had set a setting
to high, or to disable activex or something, if I did I
cant fined it.
I also am having a problem deleting multiple copies of my
printer that is installed on a networked computer - it is
connected to a different computer in the network.
I am also having trouble getting this same computer
online with my network, sometimes it connects and
sometimes it does not.
To solve my updating of windows problem, so far, I
downloaded and installed the BIG FIX - located at
http://www.bigfix.com/website/index.html
I am not very happy with this xp pro. Seems I have to
spend 1 or 2 hours a day on them to get them to work
right together and on the internet, and I only have a 3
computer LAN with a switch/router/external modem.
I am tempted to ask MacIntosh if they will put some test
machines in here, so I can see which will work better and
go with the best. - thanx just thought I'd vent!
