(I posted this message this morning, but please read this one as the other
one is bad)
Hello!! I would be very grateful if you could help me with this. I have two
computers, one with Windows Xp Pro and another with Windows 98 connected on
a network. Both have the same users with the same passwords.
I can access everything I want on the W98 from the WXP. But when I try to
access anything on the Windows Xp from the Windows 98 it appears a dialog
box :
Enter Network Password
Resourse: \\XP\IPC$ (xp is the name of the xp computer)
password:
When I first configured them everything went OK. I changed "something" on
the Xp and this happened. The thing I have found is the following: If I try
to enter the WXp from the Win98 with a user account that exists on both
computers, it appears the message. But if I put another name on the Win98
user account I can enter the WXp as guest. Please help me. Thanks.
Alejo BS
