That's not exactly true.

For what it's worth, I hate anything by McAfee. For novice users I prefer
Norton, or you could try www.grisoft.com which is free. Either way, be sure
to configure it to download updates every day.

Resettting the administrator password [note that some of these methods like
the boot disks can cause you to lose any data files which you might have
encrypted using EFS encryption]:
