I am reminded that not everyone has created an alternate admin account,
so I will reiterate my advice that you always have three accounts on any
XP:
1) Administrator, for emergency use
2) a system administrator, for routine system administration
3) one or more limited accounts for web browsing and email
If you only use one account and forget the password, you must either
find and use a third-party tool to crack the password, or reinstall XP.
I don't think a repair will change the Administrator password. Accounts
can also become corrupted or you may make a mistake and lock the account
out of something important.
