I bought a PC with XP Home edition a year ago. his year
I decided to upgrade the OS to XP Pro. I did not
reformat my disk before doing the install. I choose full
install (not upgrade). I had the administrator rights
and my personal folder was protected. I proceeded with
the upgrade, and now I cannot access that directory
anymore. Anything I try to do with that directory, it
gives me the "access denied" error message, even if I
have the administrator rights. I tried to reboot in safe
mode with the command prompt, I tried to access that
directory again, with the same result. I just want to
delete that old directory, because it takes a lot of disk
space for nothing. I need help.
Thanks
