a couple of things to think about. One Since you got the
computer with software pre-installed, then it is the
company's responsibility(who installed). Another thing is
that throughout the databases there are a number of
complaints with HP and XP software. Hopefully you have
not done the service pak updates. Lots of conflicts with
HP and service pak 1. There might be some other updates
with resolved security issues that might help. If your
searches through the database and still no avail from
where you bought the computer (be careful cause if you
dont have any extended warranties of anything stipulating
software conflicts) they may charge you for fixing the
problem if you have installed a program since getting the
computer that is causing the issue. When I bought my
computer I came across several things that came to the
point where I wiped the harddrive(formatted) and started
over. Put everything on myself. But go to the HP web site
itself and look through their Frequently asked questions
and troubleshooting spots to see if anyone else has noted
same problems and maybe HP itself has an update fix. Let
me know if this helped at all.
