This is more common on systems where XP was pre-installed, in which case
the built-in Administrator account has been set up with a blank password.
End users installing XP are be prompted to create a password for the built-
in Administrator account before continuing the install.
Another possibility is that Brendan's roommate used a password reset disk
or a special tool to reset the Administrator password, like the one
mentioned here:
