Dear Phil,

I suggest you try the following:

1. Log on the problematic computer locally
2. Remove the computer from your Windows 2000 domain.
3. Change the name for the computer.
4. Join the computer to your Windows 2000 domain again.

Thanks Tom,

I checked both those suggestions (Group Policy => 0, and SP3 on W2K Server),
and they were both at the recommended settings already.

Does anyone have any further ideas on what might be the cause of this wierd
little problems
