I meant to use a backup with system state taken of the old
system in order to recreate the old system. Any old full
backup with system state will do, provided that the files
are there and you remember the password at time of backup
of the account which encrypted the files

If there were some easy backdoor, EFS would become
trivial, and for most real purposes useless.
