Messenger active when disabled, messages getting through firewall

Block inbound ports 137-139 and 445 on your firewall and
these will be gone.

You can also disable the Messenger service (different
from MSN/Windows Messenger the IM client) from Start-

those ports through anyway, you could be exposed to other
