I have a single XP machine on a small network with 4
computers running windows 98. The xp machines's harddrive
is partitioned, in c: and d: Partition d: is shared and
all the other computers on the network can access it, no
problem. However they cannot access any shares in the
first patition, c: I can share any directory in c: with
full rights, no problem. When I go to the other
computers, in network neighborhood, I see the xp machine,
when I click on it i see the shared folders listed, but
when I click on any of the folders (excpet the one in d:)
I get a message that says there is not enough memory to
access resource, close some programs and try again. I get
the same error in all 3 win98 machines. Obviously there
are no programs running when I attempt to this. Ther is
enough memory. What am i doing worng? I went though all
the sharing settings a hundred times.
