Outlook Ex. blocking email attachments

attachments, scripts, files etc to be downloaded. That
means they do not even make to your email client from the
server. It's something that is an integral part of the
programs and can be defeated (that I am aware of). In
order to have a someone send you a file, there are
certain work-arounds you must do. For instance, I needed
a file for my Systems folder, and my friend Fred emailed
me the file as an attachment, but he changed the name of
the attachment so it was not recognized by the security
program. For example, the file I needed was OEMBIOS.cat,
so Fred sent the file attachment named OEMBIOS.cat.fred
then I simply renamed the file.
