I also am about to reinstall XP Pro.

It was able to file share before NTFS was configured. Now the win98/ME
boxes can't login to the XP. Remote console works ok but the printer and
shared files cannot be accessed.

I would like to reinstall however I only for the update edition of XP. Does
XP have to be removed ... back to the winME edition?
