I am running Win XP Pro on 30 machines at a school and am working on getting
a PDC set up, but in the mean time the teachers and kids all log in with a
generic log in, but the teachers have their folders stored on a Win2K
machine. So, when they access their folder they get a log in screen asking
for Username and Password, with a check box allowing them to store the
password.
Since everyone will log in with the same generic log in, if they check that
box, it will allow anyone using that machine from then on to access their
folder.
How do I disable - better yet, get rid of that option - the Save Password
check box.
I am not talking about the DUN option, this is for access a share on a win2k
machine where the logged in user and the user on the win2k machine are
totally different.
Thanks in advance.
Tom
