You don't have too many options with this problem, but
I'll tell you what I know.
SOLUTION #1
Assuming you're running Windows XP Professional, and
another user account with administrator privledges exists
on the computer, you can use that account to reset the
administrator password. Explore:
Control Panel|User Accounts
for the screen which allows you to reset the password.
SOLUTION #2
If the administrator made a Password Reset Disk, use that
disc to revert the password to a previous, known state.
If you don't have either of the conditions for using these
solutions, I don't think there's anything you can do. You
can always use trial and error to guess the password.
It's time consuming, but it's gotta be in the admin's
brain somewhere.
