I am using drive imaging software, or trying to, so that I can transfer an
image of my hard drive on my laptop to a partition on my XP Pro Desktop. The
partition and folder used are both shared. The program needs to boot to DOS
to make a true image. It boots up fine and loads the drivers needed and even
contacts my router DHCP for a ip address (It did take awhile to get this to
work), but it can't get to the XP partition. Is there a permissions or user
login thing going on here that I don't know about?
