Hi, Jupiter Jones -

I've seen you giving advice to folks to update their antivirus defs every **
two weeks **, and I wanted to run something by you to see if you agree.

Two weeks is a VERY LONG TIME these days, with new baddies (viruses, worms
and Trojans) appearing almost daily.

Modern AV software can be easily configured to update itself AUTOMATICALLY,
and so we should be suggesting that course of action, along with a scheduled
DAILY update.

Even ONCE a week is too long to go, if you are online every day.

Maybe that's a better recommendation: if you only go online once per week,
then update AV once a week, but if on more frequently, update each day you
go online.

Howzat? <grin>

Best wishes from cloudy Atlanta, GA.
