It is a Hoax.
See this link whenever you get an E-Mail that seems suspicious:
http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/
At the bottom in Reference Area, click on Hoaxes
Run an Updated Virus scan at least every 2 weeks, then your chances of
acquiring a virus are very low.
If any of your friends deleted that file, refer them to the link for
repair instructions.
