When I run Program compatibility wizard in xp. All
programs show the same thing. Your computer is halted and
needs to do something about this script. Helpctr.exe It
gives me options. The one I pick is Stop this script
(recommended). My Computer is running great. This file is
in C:\windows\prefetch. It is a 67 k file type pf.The
file # obd5b31b.pf. Symantec support said it was a
Microsoft problem. I can't e-mail Ms because I have an
oem#for windows. Dell had me reinstall xp files. Didn't
help. the file is still there. They want me to do a
complete install. I asked them if I could delete the file
and they said try. Here's the kicker. When I deleted the
file a new one showes up in the file folder this one was
a 40k file. I assume xp needs this file and generated a
new one. I put the 67k file back in the folder.I've run
virus scan and nothing showes up on the scan.
