MMC snapin problem

Each time I attempt to use the computer management snapin
from the control panel\admin tools or by right clicking on
my computer and choosing "manage" I recieve a message
stating the file cannot be found or not enough access
rights. this has happened under the local admin profile as
well as under the domain admin profile. I have looked at
the local group policy & made sure access the MMC console
was enabled, still no luck. Any ideas?
