hi all!

I have got a serious problem with Windows XP, I have made a fatal modification in the "local security policies" (access via Mange Computer) and today I am not able anymore to log on my own computer !

When I try to log on, I have got the following error message : "You are not allowed to connect because your local security policies do not authorize it ! Interactive logon is disabled."

both domain and local log on are not possible :
"domain\damien" and "local_machine\administrator"

But thanks to the MS domain I am able to
- remote access the registry but the folder "hkey_Local_machine\security" is unreachable.
- create share on my computer and have full access to my Winnt, system32.... directories

It is possible to plug my hdd on another XP computer, in order to modify datas on my hard drive

I would like not to re-install XP, to format ort something like this.

I think it is possible to change the bad configuration with a good one.

So my questions :
- Where are stored registry informations, which directory ?
- is it possible to edit the registry informations without regedit, but with text or hex editor ?
- is the reg file crypted ? Is it possible to decrypt it ?
- how it is possible to find the "local security policies" in the registry file ??

best regards and thank you very much !

Damien
