I have been wrestling with this probelm for some time,
researched it countless times in the news groups, saw
that numerous people have the same problem, but I still
have not been able to correct it.

Although I am logged in as the administrator in windows
xp pro, when I try to install new printer it gets the
error "Printer Not Installed - Access Denied". I
originally discovered the problem when trying to add an
adobe driver so I can make Acrobat files.

I have also noticed various other sharing violation on
common files like mp3's, documents, html files. There is
no one else on my network, and simple file sharing is
checked as off.

Can someone please tell me how to get these premissions
set right?

Thank you for your time.

J.
