ini files for applications (non-windows) can not be
edited/opened when logged on to a Novell network using
windows XP. They can be edited when not connected to the
network. THe attributes of the file show it shoudl be
abdle to be . However if the file is opened using WORDPAD
it shows as read only. This attribute does nto appear
nuder windows/DOS or novell.

The applications can not modify their inin fiel and so
crash
