I managed to get it off by editing the MSI file cached on
my PC. The file (on my PC) was called
C:\Windows\Installer\393b36.msi.

I opened it up using Orca (can be downloaded as part of
the platform SDK) and deleted one record in the
LaunchConditions table that showed this message. Was then
able to remove it quite easily. I don't know if this may
have other effects so do it at your own risk ;)
