I have a Dell Dimension 8200 with Windows XP Pro. Am
wanting to install SP 1. Recommendation is to create
Automated System Recovery Disk. If I understand it
correctly, it sounds like there is a backup of system
files, and then a floppy which is used to access the
backup.
My question is where do I back the system files up to - A
drive? If so, won't it take interminable diskettes. I get
a message about the expected time being 24+ hours! I
thought of doing the backup to my CD RW drive but it will
not accept that as a valid location.
Can the system files be backed up to C Drive?
Any help greatly appreciated.
Mary
