Alan,

Thanks for responding. However, I have a different problem
that any of the below articles is describing.

After I posted the message I was able to connect to other
workgroup resources after restoring from previous night
automatic system snapshot.

This morning I took the laptop to work (as usual), and
after plugging it in my home network again, the same error
is repeated.

I wonder if it is something to do with XP being moved from
one network to another????

I will try another system restore to see if works...
