Glad you got it working.

On your other error, it's a known bug.
It appears on single-server AD domains.
A conflict occours when Direct Hosting and NBT both connect to the same server.

The fix is listed here:

Note that this article has been updated, and now includes a hotfix.

Either ought to work.
I am using the older reg-hack fix myself.
I would suspect that the hotfix is in XP-SP1 due out on Monday.
