Hi all! I've a lan network at home and a dsl internet
connection. A friend of mine found out that he could
access my shared files. Now, I've disabled the
Filesharing for Microsoft Networks over the DSL service.
However, he could even delete the shared files. What's
more is that there isn't a password protection for share
folders and resources. When i entered "netstat" at my Dos-
prompt. I get "localhost:microsoft-ds". I have no idea
what port is "microsoft-ds" or what service it provides.
However, all I know is that anyone with shared files on
xp are endangered.
