Just a wild guess, but it would appear that lost, incorrect or "misplaced"
password are THE biggest user issue in Windows XP.
That, and making a folder private, then reinstalling the OS and losing
access to everything in that private folder.
Perhaps the biggest MISSING feature in XP is USER TRAINING.
This ain't your Daddy's Windows, folks.
<grin!>
Please LEARN before you LEAP.
Any time you take a step, be sure you can step back to what you had before,
else you should consider lost that which you've made "secure" or private.
It's GOOD to be secure - but it's better to be properly prepared so that you
can recover easily when something (eventually) goes wrong.
And it WILL go wrong - count on it.
Meanwhile, we'll keep helping here in the public newsgroups as best we can.
Please take these suggestions to heart and you'll be a better, more
independent and prepared user of your technological wonder called a PC.
Best wishes always, from Atlanta, GA.
