I am working on a web based system that is currently deployed in an NT 4.0
domain, using integrated windows authentication. I want to migrate to .NET
as soon as possible, but this requires Windows 2000 server or .NET (XP)
server. My infrastructure guy tells me there are problems with introducing
.NET server in an NT 4.0 domain, particularly regarding handling of users.
Can anyone elaborate a little around this? Particularly I would like to have
confirmed that there is really a problem having users logging onto a web
based solution being deployed on an .NET server using an NT 4.0 domain
(i.e. the users are defined in a domain, not on the .NET server). The above
mentioned guy claims this is not possible.
