If you haven't already, turn off Simple File Sharing (Tools, Folder Options,
View, near the bottom of the list of options).
Right click on the shared folder icon, choose Properties, Sharing tab.
Change "User Limit" from "Maximum allowed" to "Allow this number of users"
and enter the number desired.
