Get a decent anti-virus program! SIGH!
For $15, or even for free download, you can get an anti-virus program that
will not only protect your own system, but will keep you from infecting
all your friends and contacts. Are you really saying that it's not worth
that to you?
Or do you just like to live dangerously? Do you leave the keys in the car
when you park it, too, and your front door wide open when you go out?
A decent AV program can do the cleaning for you, and might get you to
actually expend the effort to set up this most BASIC and NECESSARY form of
protection for your system.
The removal instructions are at:
http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.duni.worm.html
and involve a lot of work; maybe that will help you "learn a lesson"
about being so careless as to open email attachments.
And don't get mad at the friend that sent it to you ... since you have now
sent it to a bunch of your friends too.
