I am having the same issue that Keith and Roger noted
below, but if Keith is encountering what I am -you can't
even view the data files within the old profile, so you
can't get in to the folders/files to take ownership. (I
am receiving "Access Denied").
I have concluded this is related to the "Make folders
Private" option I selected at some point. Does anyone
know which file or registry setting may be saving these
private folder settings & thus preventing access?
I've tried to recreate new user accounts with
"owner.{PC Name)" to try to regain access, but to no avail.

p.s. - Those of you dying to tell me to resort to my back-
up need not reply. If I had an opportunity to back up
before it failed, I would have. :)
