Actually, it wasn't that difficult. I had reset the
permissions under the security tab, not the sharing tab.
So I was able to get back to the right place by right-
clicking on the C drive, choosing "Properties"
and "Security." What got me freaked out initially was that
the "Sharing/Security" option had disappeared from the
right-click menu, and I didn't realize I could still
access it through Properties. Thanks.
