Okay here is the story. I had a computer with 2 hard
drives a 10Gb and 40Gb. THe 10Gb was running WinXP Pro
and the 40 GB was used for storage. I took the 40Gb out
and put it in another computer and it seemed to be fine.
In turn I wiped XP Pro fro mthe 10Gb and put Linux on it.
Now on my other XP maching for some reason I can't access
my folder called backup. I have attached the message i
get. It says:
You do not have permission to view or edit the current
permission settings for Backup, but you can change
auditing settings.
Under Group or user names no one is listed. I can't add
anyone either. Under advanced the Owner tab does not
exist???
I did not and haven't even tried encrypting anything. Any
way I can access these files.
Is about 4Gb of projects and programs I have done for
school.???
Please help.
Thanks
Yurij
