In that case, that's for sure the problem.
After you change the DHCP server to push out the local DNS server, you will
see several benefits:
1) The AD domain will work properly;
2) All local clients will get improved DNS resolution as a result of the
local DNS server cache;
3) Reduction in traffic on your internet WAN link, as more name resolution
is handled internally from cache. Instead of all the clients hitting the
ISPs DNS, they all go via the server, which provides caching.
