I have installed McAfee's VS, and from my account (administrator) it works
fine.

When my wife (or any other user) logs on, she gets messages saying that the
SCAN.DAT file is unavailable. The file is present in the c:\program
Files\Common Files\NA\VS Engine\4.0.xx directory (the same place the actual
executable is), but neither it nor any of the other .Dat files are
accessible to her account.

Is there a solution for this?

Also, is there a simple, clear description somewhere of exactly what you can
and cannot do with XP (Home) security? The shared folder seems a bit
restrictive - is there a way to control the access at a level closer to the
NT style?

Thanks.
Andrew
